In an effort to have a deeper understanding of God’s word and to have this church continue to take seriously the “Great Commission” (Matt. 28: 19-20), the elders have decided to start a school of preaching here at the Marysville Church of Christ. Also, a vision we hope to inspire is to eventually plant churches where a great need is recognized. This school originates from the Sunset International Bible Institute (SIBI) in Lubbock, Texas that was originally known as the Sunset School of Preaching.
These classes will be taught through a professionally recorded video of the actual Sunset teachers for each course. There are a total of 32 possible courses that anyone can take through our school here. If you take every class for credit, you will receive the “Biblical Studies Ministry Certificate” from the Sunset International Bible Institute and will be invited to go to Sunset in Lubbock to go through the graduation exercises of the current resident school graduating class. Some classes will be 24 lessons and others will be 12 lessons.
There is a cost for taking each class. If you are auditing the class, you only need to purchase the books that are required for the course.
