 Meet Our Counselor:

Kirk A. Sharrock, MA, MDiv., PCC-S

Kirk is an independently licensed counselor, who has been practicing since 1997.  Kirk has a master's degree in Divinity and Pastoral Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary.  Kirk and his wife, Machelle, and two children are currently living in Marysville.  Kirk has several counseling offices in the central Ohio area and has been associated with WellSpring Counseling since 1996.  Kirk has a passion for working with clients in the counseling environment, to help clients make progress towards spiritual maturity and freedom in Christ.

"The counseling environment can be highly productive tool to examine, educate, and discover positive ways of coping with the stresses and challenges of everyday life as well as extremely challenging mental health circumstances.  Success in the counseling environment is highly correlated to the desire and the level of  the commitment of the individual/s.  My hope is to help those individuals seeking counseling to obtain a mature and growing relationship with Christ."

How will the issue of privacy be handled? Who attends will be kept in strict confidence.  The church will only know that Kirk had an appointment, not who the appointment was with.

How do I set up an appointment? Just call Kirk on his cell or office phone.  These numbers are provided below, and Kirk will set up the appointment directly with you.

When does Kirk see clients? Kirk will normally see clients on Thursday evenings, unless otherwise scheduled.

Where are the appointments held? Appointments are held at the Marysville Church of Christ

How long is each session? Each session will last about 50 minutes.

Counseling Fees

 

Kirk's Counseling Session Fees:
Kirk’s normal hourly rate is $110/hour, but has agreed with Marysville Church of Christ on a sliding scale fee based on gross family income. See chart below:

Does W.I.S.E. Counseling take insurance? Clients wishing to utilize insurance are responsible for deductibles and co-pays regardless of income.  Clients are responsible for checking with their insurance for coverage and out of network benefits as well as obtaining authorization. 

When is Payment Due? Payment is due at the beginning of each session.  A check or cash is required.  Checks should be made payable to "Wellspring Counseling".  Credit cards are not accepted
